The Top Teachers in ShuangLiu Bring Teaching Strategies for Longchi Elementary School

In order to improve the teaching quality, the top teachers in Shuangliu District form a group to give instructions to other teachers. This group arrived at Longchi Elementary School on December 28th, 2017, which was led by Zhao Jianyun, Fu Jianyong, and Quyong. The top teacher in Tanghu Elementary School, Che Shuang, gave a demonstration lesson and a detailed lecture for teachers. 

Many teachers were eager to learn the teaching skills from Che Shuang. At 9 o’clock, Che Shuang starts her lesson ‘the house made from grass 'for students from six grade. Firstly, Che Shuang have a free talk with students to know more about students’ reading habits and reading experience, which improve their relationship and leave a deep impression on the teachers’ mind. Ms Che focused on the characters in the story and let students consider about the relationship of characters, the name of characters, and the fate of characters in order to master the reading skills. Then the children discussed the characters in groups and expressed their ideas by using the mind-map. Lastly, they gave reading reports. There was no doubt that they received the cheers of the teachers.

After the class, Fu Jianyong,who is from Education Research and Training Centre, commented on the lesson and he regard this lesson as a model for teaching about how to read a whole book. And Wu Mingqu, the top teacher in Sichuan province gave a lecture about the strategies to read a whole book and told the audience how to organize the reading activities in classroom and in campus. At the end of the lecture, Zhao Jianyun made a conclusion that all the teacher should encourage students to read books rather than do much homework.

In the end, Zhao Xinrong stated that this lecture and lesson was a great feast for all the teachers and he believed that the audience would improve the teaching skills for every students.
