2020年新冠病毒疫情下的棠湖小学全校师生居家防疫，棠湖小学外事办推出“棠湖小学居家防疫IUTC国际理解课程”，全校海棠娃学习新冠病毒防治及个人防护。孩子们跟着外教Alicia通过PPT用英语学习病毒防治，用英语绘制出抗疫手抄报，开展英语抗疫视频朗读比赛，居家防疫，学业不辍。

Under the shadow of Covid-19, the whole staff and all the pupils of Tanghu Elementary School home-schooled in the early 2020.Guided by the curriculum of IUTC on fighting the Covid-19,all the pupils of the school accomplished projects on the virus and self-protection in the pandemic era.They made their own posters and speeches in English on Fighting the Covid-19 and kept learning at home.

随着疫情在英国的蔓延，棠湖小学英国友好学校柳树学院下属各校陆续开展居家学习。为了关注友校师生安全，强化在疫期友校的国际交流，分享居家防疫经验，棠湖小学外事办张帅主任给英国柳树学院及时发送出第一时间的交流信息。英国柳树学院下属学校Rockingham Junior& Infant School在学校网站推出来自棠湖小学的问候与交流信息。

As the spread of  the Covid-19 in the UK, the schools of the Willow Tree Academy closed and pupils started home-schooling.To secure the safety of the partner schools in the UK,the Director of Foreign Affairs of Tanghu Elementary School sent his greetings and shares of home-schooling right the first time.Rockingham Junior& Infant School of the Willow Tree Academy put the messages on its website.

英国柳树学院下属学校Rockingham Junior& Infant School校长Louise回信，她表达了收到信息的欣喜之情，祝愿棠湖小学师生健康安全。她介绍了柳树学院的第一天居家线上学习情况，并就两校深入交流做了安排。

Louise, the headteacher of Rockingham Junior& Infant School replied the messages with delight. She wished all the teachers and pupils of Tanghu Elementary School safe and healthy.

为了向无数向抗击疫情做出贡献的平凡英雄致敬，棠湖小学童声合唱团同声合唱战“疫”歌曲《给大地希望》，获得巨大成功。合唱团的表演被学习强国平台、双流空港融媒等媒体专访和转发。学校外事办把合唱团的表演推送到英国友校，受到Rockingham Junior& Infant School校长Louise的高度重视并迅速在该校网站和推特转发，受到该校师生和家长的欢迎。

To pay our tributes to all the  heroes who fought the Covid-19,the choir of Tanghu Elementary School performed HOPE TO THE EARTH and gained great success. The performance was interviewed and shared by different medias and platforms.As soon as it was shared to the partner school ,the performance was shared to the British families and pupils via its school website and twitter.

加强校际课程建设与交流也是疫情期间棠湖小学国际交流的重要方面。在棠湖小学外事办的统筹下，学校美术组全体组员积极参与，完成开发棠湖小学对外交流精品课程《熊猫棠棠游成都》。熊猫棠棠是双流区棠湖小学儿童国画的吉祥物。在熊猫棠棠的带领下，棠湖小学的国际伙伴们画熊猫“棠棠”吃在成都：吃火锅、吃糖油果子、吃双流草莓；画熊猫“棠棠”玩在成都：放风筝、抽陀螺、跳拱；画熊猫“棠棠”探索成都民俗：川剧变脸、舞龙、掏耳朵，骑单车；画熊猫“棠棠”游成都：打卡空港花田看飞机、漂流府南河、游黄龙溪古镇......在两校的交流沟通中，棠湖小学儿童国画课程将在空中与英国的伙伴们见面。

Curriculum development and communication were also one of the most important aspects of international communication in the pandemic era. Organized by the office of Foreign Affairs of Tanghu Elementary School, the traditional Chinese Painting Curriculum ---- Tangtang The Panda Touring Chengdu, was accomplished with all the full support of the school art teachers.Tangtang The Panda is the mascot for the Traditional Chinese painting Curriculum of Tanghu Elementary School. So all the international partners of the school are going to paint Tangtang  the Panda tasting the delicious food in Chengdu, including the hotpot, the Tangyouguozi and the strawberries produced in Shuangliu. They are going to paint  Tangtang the Panda playing in Chengdu, including flying kites, spinning top and haunch jumping.They are going to paint Tangtang the Panda exploring Chengdu customs, including Face changing of Sichuan Opera, dragon dance, Ear-picking and bike-riding. They are also going to paint Tangtang the Panda travelling in Chengdu, including visiting the online place of interest -- the Airport Flower Field, rafting on Funan River, visiting Huanglongxi Ancient town,etc.

病毒无国界，抗疫交流亦无国界。在棠湖小学和柳树学院的交流中，我们看到了战胜病毒的希望！

There are no national borders to the Covid-19, so is fighting it.Hopes of defeating the Covid-19 can be seen in the course of communication between Tanghu Elementary School and the Willow Tree Academy.
